I'm assuming he had it for $4000 and just lowered the price to $3000, but forgot to edit the actual text of the ad.
CL lets you just edit/renew, which I'm guessing he did here. Just edit the price field and leave the rest as-is.
But I could be wrong.

Salvage title does not necessarily make it bad. I have owned 2 cars with salvage titles and they were some of the best I have owned. The key is to determine why they have these titles. Both of mine were stolen and stripped of parts. Not accidents. Upside: you can buy them cheap. Downside: You own it for life.
